Annual UAAC-AAUC conference, to be held at the Banff Centre, Banff (Alberta), October 17-20, 2013.
 
UAAC - AAUC announces the Call for Papers for our annual conference in Banff.  Please see general regulations below and follow the link to call for papers.
 

General regulations

1. Individuals, collaborators or research partners may submit single papers, and they may submit only one such proposal.

2. Each proposed paper must include: name of individual submitting the paper and their email contact, paper title; abstract (150-word maximum); keywords; and a brief curriculum vitae (300-word maximum) that specifies their rank and institutional affiliation (if applicable).

3. An individual may not Chair a panel in which they are presenting a paper, however an individual may Chair MORE than one session.

4. Conveners of individual sessions are responsible for the selection of the papers to be included in that session, and must inform all applicants to that session as to whether or not their paper has been accepted.

We are very much looking forward to this year’s annual conference, to be held October 17 – 19, inclusive, at the Banff Centre in Banff, Alberta, a world famous venue for meaningful creativity.  Host to a myriad of important cultural conferences and events, the Centre will provide an exclusive setting for our annual meeting, providing a unique opportunity for us to meet as a Canadian community of visual and creative arts specialists.

STAYING IN BANFF: THE BANFF CENTRE
In order to fully facilitate a true conference atmosphere, it is expected that most delegates will choose to stay at the Banff Centre, which will provide us with all amenities over the course of our meeting.

SALLY BORDEN RECREATION FACILITY:
The Banff Centre’s Sally Borden Recreation Facility houses a 25 metre pool, steam rooms, whirlpool, weight room, full-sized gymnasium with indoor running track, badminton, squash court and climbing wall. These facilities will be available for general usage to all overnight guests of The Banff Centre at no extra charge.
